How old are you?
I'm a Capricorn & will be 27 on January 7th of 2009.
How long have you been living in your van?
Since May of 2008.
Why are you actually living in your van?
To save money, see the country, and be more mobile. It just makes sense to me. It is the right thing to do at this point in my life.
Are you going to live in your van forever?
Maybe, Maybe not. I am not opposed to the idea :) Click Here to read where I plan to be when I'm 40.
Why did you create this site?
To provide helpful information to others who are already living in their vehicle (either by choice, circumstance, or necessity) and to encourage those who are possibly considering this way of life. Van-dwelling is a fun and rewarding way of life once you figure out how to conquer its little challenges. I hope to show people that life is truly what you make it, depending on your outlook and decisions. I encourage "living outside the box," being a good person, making the most of what you have, healthy choices, and living more simply. Click Here to read my posting about the purpose of this site. Whatever your "purpose" or "reasons" are im just glad that you did decided to post everything you have. I find it very interesting and always look forward to check out your adventures. I have utmost admiration to what you guys are doing and are actually enjoying life being content with what you have. Hope you guys are back on the road and look forward to more of your post and upcoming photos the places you visit!
just wanted to say..i absolutely love your site. very useful information! currently "outfitting" my vanagon, and hoping/praying for that "last straw" moment...maybe it's got to be a conscious decision...not sure, but, it's getting nearer all the time.
i think what you're doing, is not only brave, but smart, and admirable. (i guess it depends on one's sensibilities though) keep on little sister...
